Storage Solutions

I have been wanting for a while to get my scrapbook stuff out of the boxes and accessible. I measured the spaces that were available (shelving in the bedroom) and took my specs to Target. I was impressed that I was able to find just what I needed! I got two bins for my clear stamps, and two for my inks as you can see in the picture.

In the top picture, you can see the two big bins for the 12 x 12 scrapbook paper and kits. This little accomplishment makes me happy. Now, hopefully, I will be able to access my materials when I want them. I just have to find time to put pages together!

Another note about today...I had to get a health assessment for Whitney for pre-school, no big deal. What was a big deal, was that, I did not know she was going to require 3 shots today! She was not happy, but we went to Coldstone Creamery afterward and all was well.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope that everyone has a HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY! Happy Anniversary to my Dad and Barbara (14 years). Whitney's birthday was Wednesday and she had a GREAT day! Thank you to everyone who sent cards and gifts, she was SO happy to open everything up. Right now she is looking at all her Valentines from pre-school. She mostly likes the candy, but she is enjoying looking at the cards too. On her birthday, Joe and I both worked, but the two days before that we were in Hershey, PA for the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference. Joe and Whitney went to Chocolate World and the Zoo while I attended many technology and education related sessions. Joe bought donuts to take to preschool Wednesday afternoon and they were a big hit with everyone (even the teachers!)

We hope that everyone has a great weekend! I know I will enjoy it (we have President's day off work)!
Take care and much love!

Whitney's party

Sunday we had a birthday party for Whitney! It is hard to believe that 4 years ago I was pregnant with her. She is such a blessing and I am so glad we have her. She laughs, plays, and says the neatest little things.
We had her party early because Sandy and Charlie are headed out on a cruise on Saturday and that was the only weekend Joe had off for a while. We had a great time with Joe's cousins kids and his friends' niece. I was able to prepare all my normal party fare...chocolate dipped pretzels and chili dip. Whitney opted for a Disney Princess cake and we played Freeze Dance and Duck Duck Goose. Joe even took her and all the bigger girls out for a safe ride on the ATV!
Sunday was also the BIG GAME!!! We made it home just in time to catch the kick off and cheer on the Steelers!!!!!!!! It was a nail biter, but our confidence never waned. HERE WE GO STEELERS!
